AR's primary purpose when it was created years ago was to bring in the track plan in a very defaulted state, looking like a pencil drawing.

When this is all working well, you can move that xml from the donload folder into a permanent folder position of your choosing where you keep your panels. Point your file manager to the downlod folder and select the panel's xml file.

Open JMRI and from layout editor, under panels, open a new panel. N ow whater it takes, get that file into the downlod folder at JMRI.

Do not worry to much about that as it is eye candy and serves no useful purpose that I can see. Currently it is not clear how to get the jpg into the jmri panel as the system wants to work with icons (ico).

At this time 2 files are created, the xml (of the panel) and a jpg picture of your project in anyrail. A XML file will be created of the anyrail plan, into a locatin you assign on your pc hard drive.
